Croatia's parliament, the Sabor,
was dissolved today on the proposal of the majority parties led
by the conservatives of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković's
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), paving the way for political
elections, albeit only by a few months compared to the
legislature's natural expiry. The President of the Republic,
Zoran Milanovic, will decide on the election date, which could
be in late April or early May.
