Italian tennis sensation Jannik
Sinner defeated American Christopher Eubanks 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 in
the first round of the French Open on Monday as he returned to
action after a hip injury caused him to pull out of the Masters
1000 event in Madrid and miss the recent Italian Open in Rome.
The 22-year-old Australian Open champion will be sure to
overtake tennis great Novak Djokovic at the top of the world
rankings if he reaches the final of Roland Garros.
