The Russian embassy in Rome on Friday
insisted that an Italian armoured vehicle had been destroyed in
Ukraine despite Italy denying it has sent such vehicles to the
country.
"An Italian-made Ukrainian army armoured vehicle 'Iveco LMV 4x4'
was destroyed during the special military operation. The fate of
military vehicles transferred to the Kiev regime is predictable
and unenviable," said a Facebook post by the Russian embassy in
Rome, which published some photos.
"By way of information for the heads of the Italian Ministry of
Defence," it adds, "the embassy does not attack anyone, it
merely reports the facts about which the megaphones of Nato
propaganda are silent."
The embassy recently said Italian anti-tank missiles had been
seized in Ukraine.
