Silvio Berlusconi's health history
includes an operation for prostate cancer in 1997, an operation
to replace a faulty heart valve in 2016, and what he called a
"hellish" bout of COVID-19 two and a half years ago, which
turned into a vexatious stint of 'long COVID'.
Here is a rundown of the issues suffered by the 86-year-old
three-time ex-premier and media mogul, who was hospitalised for
cardiovascular problems on Wednesday.

San Raffaele Hospital, where his long-time personal physician
Alberto Zangrillo is head of anaesthesia and intensive care.

Antwerp.

hospital

hurls Milan cathedral statuette at him in Piazza Duomo. The
injuries linger and he had an operation on his mandible two
years later, in 2011.

near Milan for tendinitis in left hand

few days' convalescence

Raffaele

he called "a hellish illness". Discharged after 10 days but
subsequently hospitalised for a few brief stays as long COVID
set in
- January 2021: checks into heart clinic in Monte Carlo for a
few days, does a barrage of tests
