(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 25 - COVID-19 cases in Italy have risen
10% from 208,631 to 229,135 in the last week, the health
ministry said in its weekly report Friday, with 580 more deaths
compared to 533 the previous week, a rise of 8.8%, and the
positivity rate rising 0.4% from 17.5% last Friday to 17.9% this
Friday.
The number of swabs was 7.0% up over the week, rising to
1,276,986 from 1,193,523.
The number of regions at high COVID risk has risen from one,
Liguria, last week to six this week: Emilia Romagna, Lazio,
Liguria, Marche, Puglia and Veneto.
Some 13 regions are moderate risk, compared to 12 seven days
ago, and two low risk, compared to eight a week ago. (ANSA).
