(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 6 - United States President Joe Biden's
administration backs the efforts of its allies and partners to
end the war in Ukraine, including Italy's, a White House
spokesperson has told ANSA.
The spokesperson was responding to a question about the US
administration's view of the Italian four-stage peace plan for
Ukraine.
The plan would feature a ceasefire, talks on Ukraine's
'international status', i.e. whether it is neutral, a bilateral
agreement between Kyiv and Moscow on the contested areas of
Crimea and Donbass, and a multilateral agreement on peace and
security in Europe.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has described the plan as
"not serious". (ANSA).
