(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 18 - A Palermo man on Friday got life in
jail for stabbing to death his ex-wife three years ago.
Vincenzo Terranova was found guilty of cutting hie wife Anna
Scavo's throat with a box-cutter after pouring acid on her face.
The two had recently separated.
Terranova claimed his wife's death was an accident which
happened when he tried to take the cutter off her to protect
their son in the shop they owned in the Sicilian capital.
