(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 18 - Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio on
Friday hailed record Italian exports of 516 billion euros in
2021.
He said this was higher than 2020 and also the boom year of
2019.
The minister said the government was set to invest 1.5 billion
euros a year for the next five years to boost exports further.
"And that is just the start", he said.
"All our efforts will go towards overcome all issues that can
slow this growth, from energy hikes to the costs of logistics.
