Juventus have been irked by the
latest off-field antics of coach Massimiliano Allegri but they
do not plan to axe him before the end of the season, sources
close to the club said Thursday after under-19 head Poalo
Montero had been rumoured to be set to take over with two games
to go.
However, the Tuscan coach is certain to leave the club in
post-season talks, they added.
A divorce is inevitable, the sources said, after Allegri railed
against match and club officials in an extraordinary outburst in
which he tore off his tie and stormed down the touchline near
the end of Wednesday's Italian Cup Final win over Atalanta,
before going on to have a furious argument with Tuttosport
Editor-in-Chief Guido Vaciago in the tunnel after the match.
