Sandro Tonali and Aston Villa attacking midfielder Niccolò
Zaniolo were quizzed by police Thursday in connection with
allegations on illegal betting made by disgraced former
paparazzo to the stars Fabrizio Corona, who reportedly told
police the pair were involved along with Juventus midfielder
Nicolò Fagioli, who has already been placed under investigation.
Former Milan star Tonali and former Roma star Zaniolo were
questioned at the Italy training camp for upcoming Euro 2024
qualifiers against Malta and England, at Coverciano near
Florence.
The pair have been implicated in the betting affair.
