Spain's Jorge Martin won the Japanese
MotoGP on Sunday to cut reigning champ Francesco Bagnaia's
standings lead to just three points, having also won the sprint
race Saturday.
Ducati rider Bagnaia, who had come third in the sprint race,
came second at Motegi on Sunday.
Third was Marc Marquez on the Honda.
The race was stopped on lap 13 of the scheduled 24 due to heavy
rain that prevented the riders from having a good view of the
track. According to the regulations all the points normally
awarded were assigned as the riders completed more than half of
the race.
