Ducati showed all its potential in
winning the Austrian MotoGP Sunday, victorious reigning world
champ Francesco 'Pecco' Bagnaia said after the win stretched his
lead in the championship standings to 62.
"It all went well, as we had planned. I expected a stronger
pace, but the conditions were tough for everyone.
"There were some problems with my front wheel, but then I
understood how to improve my lap times.
"I'm very happy, because this weekend we have been able to show
all our potential".
Bagnaia dominated all weekend, taking pole, winning the sprint
race and then winning the GP while setting the fastest lap time.
The Turin-born champ has 251 points, followed by Jorge Martin
with 189, Marco Bezzecchi with 183 and Brad Binder on 160.
