AC Milan have announced that they have
signed English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea .
The 27-year-old has signed a four-year deal.
Milan are reported paying Chelsea around 21 million euros for
his services.
The Serie A giants needed to bolster their midfield, with Italy
international Sandro Tonali set to join Newcastle United for a
reported transfer fee of around 80 million euros.
Loftus-Cheek is a product of Chelsea's youth system.
He played 155 games and scored 13 goals for the London side,
winning two Premier League titles, a Club World Cup, a European
Super Cup and a League Cup title.
He also had loan stints with Crystal Palace and Fulham.
He has 10 England caps, the last of which he collected in 2018.
