AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho cast doubts about his future at the Serie A side after the heartbreak of losing Wednesday's Europa League final to Sevilla in Budapest on penalties.
"I want to remain, but my players deserve more and I deserve more," Mourinho, who has a year to run on his contract with Roma, told a news conference.
"I'm a little tired of being a coach, a communicator, the one who says we have been robbed.
"I'm a little tired of being all of this.
"I want to remain with the necessary conditions to give more".
Mourinho has frequently complained about the quality of the squad at his disposal and the way referees officiate Roma's matches.
He was highly critical of the way Wednesday's final was refereed too.
The defeat means Roma will not play in the Champions League next season, as they have missed the chance of qualifying as Europa League Champions and cannot go through by being in Serie A's top four.
The are sixth in the table and must win the last Serie A game of the season, at home against Spezia on Sunday, to make sure they qualify for next term's Europa League.
"It's good news that we won't be in the Champions League," Mourinho said.
"It's a paradox, but we are not a team that is ready for the Champions League yet".
