Slovenia's Primoz Roglic won the Giro
d'Italia Sunday.
Three-time Vuelta winner Roglic won his first Giro after
snatching the lead from Welshman Geraint Thomas in a dramatic
mountain time trial Saturday.
Roglic had a 14-second advantage over Thomas which it was
impossible to lose on the flat parade around the Italian capital
ending in the Colosseum Sunday.
President Sergio Mattarella was at Via dei Fori Imperiali in the
Roman Forum Sunday to hand Roglic his trophy.
