Serie A leader Napoli's new Georgia
sensation Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has been ruled out of Saturday's
top-of-the-table Atalanta game with injury, the Partenopei said
Friday.
The mazy-dribbling 21-year-old winger, who has drawn fan
comparisons to Diego Maradona, suffered a bad groin strain in
Napoli's 2-0 Champions League defeat at Liverpool Tuesday night,
a loss that did not affect their qualifying top of their group.
The Georgia star will remain in Naples where he will enjoy rest
and therapy, Napoli said.
Napoli lead Serie A with 32 points from 12 matches.
Bergamo outfit Atalanta are second with 27, and reigning
champions Milan third on 26.
