Chile forward Alexis Sanchez took a
whopping pay-off to resolve his contract with Inter Milan by
mutual consent Monday and has been linked with a free transfer
to Ligue 1 outfit Marseille.
The diminutive (1.68m) 33-year-old "El Niño Maravilla" (The
Wonder Child), who has a record 148 Chile caps and a record 48
goals for his country, played three seasons in Milan after
joining them, initially on loan, from Manchester United in 2019.
He played 57 times for the Nerazzurri and scored 12 goals,
helping them to the 2021 Serie A championship title.
His previous clubs include Barcelona, Arsenal and Udinese.
Inter thanked Sanchez for his three seasons with them and wished
him all the best for the continuation of his career.
