World Cup winning France midfielder
Paul Pogba returned to Juventus Monday six years after leaving
them as a 23-year-old for Man Utd.
The 29-year-old is a free agent with his contract at United at
an end.
The 2018 World Cup-winner helped Juve claim four Serie A titles
and two Italian Cups during his 2012-16 stint in Turin.
Juve have had a harder time in the last two years, dropping out
of Italian soccer's top three.
They have also been unable to reach the Champions League quarter
finals since 2019.
Pogba, who has 91 France caps and 11 goals for his country, is
reportedly set to earn around eight million euros a season in
the four-year deal.
"Paul is back in Turin, he left us as a boy and returns as a man
and a world-class player, but there's one thing that hasn't
changed: his desire to write more unforgettable chapters
together," the Old Lady tweeted.
"We couldn't be happier: Paul is with us once again.
The two-time European champs and record 36-time scudetto winners
said "when you say goodbye, after a wonderful adventure lived
together, in a corner of your heart there is always the little
hope of seeing someone again, sooner or later".
Pogba started off well at Utd but suffered ups and downs in the
last two years.
