Napoli Chairman Aurelio de Laurentiis
is being probed by Naples prosecutors for alleged false
accounting in relation to the transfers of four players,
including the 2020 acquisition of Nigeria forward Victor
Osimhen, sources said on Tuesday.
Laurentiis's wife, his son, his daughter and other senior club
officials are also under investigation, the sources said.
Osimhen, 23, moved to Naples from Lille in a reported club
record 70-million-euro transfer.
Finance police staged searches in Naples and Rome to gather
evidence for the probe and similar operations took place in
France in the basis of a warrant by the Naples prosecutors.
