Juventus are six points clear at
the top of Serie A after a Cristiano Ronaldo double gave them a
comeback 2-1 win at Empoli and second-placed Napoli were held
1-1 at home by AS Roma.
A late goal by Dries Mertens salvaged a point for the Naples
side on Sunday after Stephan El Shaarawy had put the visitors in
front early on.
AC Milan beat Sampdoria 3-2 at the San Siro to climb to fifth
and ease the pressure on under-fire coach Gennaro Gattuso.
Third-placed Inter will take on fourth-placed Lazio in Rome
later on Monday, weather permitting.
