Napoli came close to a memorable
win at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday
only to be held 2-2 due to Angel Di Maria's stoppage-time goal
for the hosts.
Italy forward Lorenzo Insigne put Napoli in front in the
first half with a slick chip, but they surrendered the lead
after the break because of a Mario Rui own goal.
Dries Mertens touched in on 77 minutes to restore the lead,
but Di Maria gave the wealthy French club a share of the spoils
with a fine shot from outside the box.
Napoli are second in Group C with five points from three
games, one more than PSG and one fewer than leaders Liverpool.
Inter, meanwhile, lost 2-0 at Barcelona, with Rafinha and
Jordi Alba scoring for the Catalan side.
Inter are second in Group B with six points, three behind
leaders Barca and five more PSV Einhoven and Tottenham Hotspur.
