There have been 36,573 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 64 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
That compares to 31,885 new cases and 48 more victims Wednesday.
Some 194,676 more tests have been done, compared to 195,439
Wednesday.
The positivity rate is up from 16.3% to 18.7%.
Intensive care cases are up three to 192, and hospital
admissions up 85 to 4,303.
The currently positive are 600,781, down 3,104 on Wednesday.
The recovered and discharged are 17,005,366, up 40,108 on
Wednesday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 17,773,764,
and the death toll 167,617.
