The health ministry on Wednesday told
over 80s in Italy, as well as over 60s with high fragility, not
to put off getting their fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
It said although cases and hospital admission for the
coronavirus were falling, occasions for social gatherings were
increasing.
"Don't postpone the fourth dose of the vaccine," the ministry
tweeted.
"It is recommended for people aged 80 and over, care home
residents, and 60-year-olds and up with elevated fragility".
