Italy's 0-5 year olds will start
getting the COVID jab from the spring, Higher Health Council
(CSS) and CTS COVID advisory panel chair Franco Locatelli said
Thursday.
He said they would be eligible for two doses and the dosage
would be "further reduced" compared to that proposed for 5-11
year olds.
Locatelli said if the virus spread continues to fall Italy's
outdoor facemask mandate could be lifted "in a few weeks."
CTS member Fabio Ciciliano said the panel might be wound up
shortly since Italy is heading out of the COVID emergency.
