A new generation of micro
drones able to fly without authorisation from the civil aviation
authorities ENAC is to be presented for use in Italy at the
upcoming Roma Drone Conference, organisers said Monday.
The 'flying robots' weigh just 300 g and can be used for
aerial filming, land mapping or security purposes.
They have fixed or rotating wings and there is also a micro
quadcopter equipped with a video camera for aerial shots or
surveillance.
The Roma Drone Conference opens on December 2 and has been
organised by the association Ifimedia and Mediarkè in
partnership with Link Campus University.
