The centre-left Democratic Party (PD)
leads Premier Giorgia Meloni's rightwing Brothers of Italy (FdI)
by 14,2% to 13.8% with 67.2% of the votes in Sardinian regional
elections counted.
The leftwing populist 5-Star Movement (M5S) is third on 7.7%
ahead of the centre-right post Berlusconi Forza Italia (FI)
party on 7% and the rightwing League on 3.7%.
The Sardinian Action party, lead by outgoing and not
recandidated governor Christian Solinas, has 5.5%.
