"Viva Hitler" and "Fuck Israel" were
daubed overnight on a piece of street art featuring deported
Jews as the cartoon characters the Simpsons at Milan's Shoah
Memorial.
It was the fourth time in its year of existence that artist
aleXsandro Palombo's work has been defaced, and it came a day
before Holocaust Remembrance Day on Saturday.
The mural 'Binario 21, The Jewish Simpsons deported to
Auschwitz', is at the former railroad platform at Milan's
central train station from which many of Italy's Jews were taken
to the Nazi death camps.
