One of Italy's most popular pasta
makers, Rummo fom Benevento south of Naples, said Tuesday it was
not fazed by calls to boycott its products by leftists on social
media after rightwing League leader, Deputy Premier and
Transport Minister Matteo Salvini visited the works.
"People will continue to buy our pasta," owner Cosimo Rummo told
ANSA.
He added: "I'm not accustomed to asking for a party membership
card from people who come here".
Salvini visited Rummo Monday saying his visit was aimed against
those who wanted to eat things like insect flour.
