Premier Giorgia Meloni said Thursday
"the more they attack us the stronger we get".
She added: "Solidarity with Matteo Salvini", referring to her
coalition partner and rightwing League party leader, who is also
deputy premier and transport minister.
He was subjected to a death threat from a teen gang in Milan
Thursday.
It was not immediately apparent to what else she was referring,
although she has most recently been criticised for being duped
by two Russian comics who made a prank call posing as an African
leader, to whom she spoke about Ukraine war fatigue and the need
for a way out of the conflict soon.
