Ukraine's defeat by Russia would
amount to surrender and not peace, Foreign Minister Antonio
Tajani said Tuesday.
"There is no peace without justice for the Ukrainian people," he
said on his arrival at a NATO foreign ministers' meeting in
Bucharest.
"We must work for peace but as long as Ukraine is invaded it
will be hard to be able to sit at a negotiating table.
"Right now Ukraine's defeat means surrender and does not mean
peace".
