Marion Maréchal, niece of French
far-right National Rally leader Marine Le Pen and vice president
of polemicist Eric Zemmour's far-right Reconquête, on Monday
hailed the Italian election victory of rightwing Brothers of
Italy (FdI) leader Giorgia Meloni.
"She managed to hold out, she managed to build unity," tweeted
the granddaughter of Front National founder Jean-Marie Le Pen,
who is married to FdI member Vincenzo Sofo.
"Well done Giorgia Meloni for this historic victory. (It's) good
news for the defence of our civilization".
She attached to the tweet a picture of herself with Meloni.
