Three-time ex-premier and media mogul
Silvio Berlusconi, 85, is set to wed his fiancée of two years,
32-year-old MP for his centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party
Marta Fascina, conservative newspaper Libero reported Tuesday.
The rumour is doing the rounds of parliament and has not been
denied by Berlusconi's entourage.
The couple were most recently seen in public kissing at a Serie
B match involving Berlusconi's Monza on Saturday, and on a
lakeside walk at Lecco on Sunday.
Fascina, a Calabrian literature graduate at Rome's Sapienza
University, would be the third wife of the conservative leader
after Carla Elvira Dall'Oglio, whom he married in 1965 and by
whom he has two children, both media executives, and actress
Veronica Lario (born Miriam Bartolini), by whom he had another
three and who divorced him after accusing him of pursuing young
women.
