No-confidence votes against the
government have become a "serial" phenomenon now totalling 31,
almost one a month, and are a "waste of time," Democratic Party
(PD) Senate Whip Luigi Zanda said Tuesday. The various
oppositions to PD leader and Premier Matteo Renzi on Tuesday
filed a no-confidence motion linked to a southern Italian oil
probe in which industry minister Federica Guidi quit. The motion
is expected to be rejected, like its predecessors.
