The plight of two Italian
marines under suspicion in India in the deaths of two fishermen
three years ago remains "an open wound" for Italy, Foreign
Minister Paolo Gentiloni told the Lower House Friday. "The
government is working without fanfare .... to set about solving
this crisis," he said. The two marines Massimiliano Latorre and
Salvatore Girone have been detained for long stretches in the
case that occurred while they were on anti-piracy duty.
