Beppe Grillo, maverick leader
of the 5-Star Movement (M5S) political party, said Thursday that
his meeting with Italy's new President Sergio Mattarella "was
cordial and constructive" and he hoped they would meet again.
Mattarella has been meeting with all party leaders. Grillo took
a hard line with previous Italian President Giorgio Napolitano,
who retired last month citing age and health reasons. Grillo
frequently called for Napolitano's impeachment.
