The Italian Ambassador Massimiliano D'Antuono, accompanied by the Education Attaché of the Embassy, Ornella Spano, MAECI lecturer of Italian language and culture at TSU, visited the Tbilisi State University Ivane Javakhishvili (TSU), where he was welcomed by the Vice Rector of the University Erekle Astakhishvili and by the Head of the Department of Italian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities Maia Javakhidze.
During the warm meeting at which many students and faculty members of the Department were present, Ambassador D'Antuono spoke of the fruitful cooperation with TSU, an important reference point for the promotion of the Italian language and culture in Georgia, and of the further strengthening of Italian teaching in the country.
