Prince William of Britain on Thursday
visited the world's fair for United Kingdom National Day at Expo
Dubai 2020 on his first official visit to the United Arab
Emirates.
The Duke of Cambridge's visit comes as London seeks to cement
ties to the Gulf as part of its post-Brexit strategy.
William visited a string of events at the UAE and British
Pavilions and others, and promoted his environmental award, the
Earthshot Prize, while also highlighting the fight against
illegal wildlife trafficking as part of the United for Wildlife
