Takings at Italian cinemas rose
6.06% in 2016, sector group ANICA said Tuesday, but crashed 38%
over the Christmas holidays due to the absence of the usual
blockbuster by comic Checco Zalone.
Zalone's latest, Quo Vado?, ended up accounting for almost 9%
of last year's total takings.
