Israel's Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs, Tzipi Hotovely, visited Expo as part of her
first official visit abroad since taking office.
"I'm very excited and at the same time very happy to be at
Expo, which I find beautiful," Hotovely said.
After the official flag-raising ceremony, Hotovely visited
the Israel pavilion, and said she was "enthusiastic" about its
construction, and then she had lunch at the Italy pavilion,
Palazzo Italia.
Hotovely was accompanied by Expo's Commissioner General
Bruno Pasquino, had lunch with Expo President Diana Bracco, and
signed the honor guest book.
