Milan Expo 2015 world fair
Commissioner Giuseppe Sala said Monday "we have the legitimate
hope that all the pavilions of the countries and the clusters
will be able to be opened on May 1," when the long-awaited event
starts.
"I'm keeping my fingers crossed but we're racing to present
all the pavilions open", he said.
Sala said last week the Expo site would be "nearly ready"
for the opening of the six-month event, themed Feeding the
Planet, Energy for Life.
