The government is set to launch a bill
aimed at protecting teachers from attacks after a spate of
parents' violence against school officials across Italy.
"Major novelties are in the pipeline," said Education Minister
Giuseppe Valditara saying that sanctions for such assaults will
be hiked.
The latest incidents have targeted head teachers in Taranto and
Foggia, both in Puglia, this week.
