The Court of Assizes of Arezzo on
Saturday sentenced to life imprisonment Jawad Hicham, a
38-year-old Moroccan, for stabbing to death his partner Sara
Ruschi, 35, and his mother-in-law Brunetta Ridolfi, 76, on the
night between 12 and 13 April in Arezzo.
The double murder took place in the flat in Via San Lorentino
where the couple lived with their two children aged 16 and 2.
Prosecutor Marco Dioni had asked for life imprisonment for
Hicham for premeditated murder.
