In the first eight months of 2023,
5,477,344 new employment contracts were activated and 4,509,014
were terminated, leading to an overall positive balance of
968,330 contracts, pensions and social security agency INPS said
on Thursday.
Permanent job contracts also showed a positive balance of
310,763 units, up slightly from the positive balance of 272,811
recorded in the same period in 2022, added INPS, reporting data
from its observatory on precarious work.
The figures concern private employees excluding domestic and
agricultural workers.
