President Sergio Mattarella has
expressed his solidarity in relation to the deaths and damage in
Tuscany caused by extreme weather on Thursday, Governor Eugenio
Giani said on Friday.
"The President of the Republic has just called me to express his
full solidarity and best wishes for our work," said Giani.
"I voiced to him my strong concern for a truly tragic situation.
Thank you President Mattarella for the closeness that has never
been lacking!" he added.
