Three people have been arrested on
suspicion of complicity in murder in relation to the death of a
60-year-old man after being attacked and beaten during a dispute
in a Rome condominium at the end of June.
The suspects are a 26-year-old Syrian man and two Italians aged
37 and 30, all with previous convictions.
Maurizio Pisani was kicked, punched ad beaten with a baseball
bat and a wooden rolling pin inside the residential complex
where he lived in the southern district of Ponte Galeria on June
26.
He was rushed to Rome's Gemelli hospital on an emergency red
code and died from his injuries on July 2.
Investigators believe the incident occurred at the culmination
of a condominium dispute between the three suspects and two
other residents, including the victim.
