Carabinieri police carried out a raid against suspected fascist terrorists in Sardinia on Tuesday, judicial sources said.
The R.O.S. special unit of the Carabinieri, together with soldiers from the Nuoro Provincial Command, the Sardinian Helicopter Squadron and the 11th Helicopter Unit of Elmas, carried out the raid in the Nuoro area for suspected association with the purpose of fascist terrorism, the sources said.
Investigations in the 'Reaction' operation have revealed intimidation activities against citizens and towards polling stations, as well as drug trafficking and dealing, police said.
Crimes against persons and property were also allegedly committed, police said.

Police told a press conference in Cagliari later they had arrested four people and placed a total of 11 others under investigation.
They said the neo-fascist group, which called itself the Sardinian Legionary Front, had committed numerous intimidatory acts including with arms and explosives, also targetting a local mayor and several other officials in northern Sardinia, with the intention of warning people off local elections by death threats and sending bullets, among other things.
