A 24-year-old Israeli woman was
stabbed in the back inside Rome's Termini Rail Station on New
Year's Eve, sources said.
The woman was taken to hospital but is not in a life-threatening
condition.
Rome prosecutors have said they are treating the case as
attempted murder but have no reason to think it was a terror
attack.
The woman said Monday she did not know who her aggressor was and
had not noticed anyone following her.
She is in Rome's Policlinico Umberto I Hospital, where her
condition is described as serious but stable.
