A 34-year-old Roman man was arrested
Tuesday on suspicion of raping two foreign students on October
14 in Rome, police said.
The rapes allegedly took place in Viale Trastevere, not far from
the students' lodgings.
Police arrested the man on the basis of the complaints filed by
his two alleged victims and other witness reports.
The man has been taken into preventive custody in a Rome jail.
