There have been 35,043 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 93 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 48,714 new cases and 120 more victims Tuesday.
Some 216,735 more tests have been done, compared to 297,268
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is down from 16.38% to 16.16%.
Intensive care cases are down five to 227 and hospital
admissions down 87 to 7,019.
The currently positive are 498,269.
The recovered and discharged are 22,766,314.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 23,443,429,
and the death toll 178,846.
