There have been 47,763 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 69 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 65,925 new cases and 80 more victims Tuesday.
Some 244,746 more tests have been done, compared to 333,204
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is down from 19.8% to 19.5%.
Intensive care cases are up four to 228 and hospital admissions
up 225 to 6,484.
The currently positive are 533,451.
The recovered and discharged are 22,233,326.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 22,944,496,
and the death toll 177,719.
